Heartbreaker Blog Hop - Audible Book, $GC, Swag

HEARTBREAKERS. Who have been your favorites? In all the romances we read, there must be a happily ever after, but somewhere in between the beginning and the end, a heart break takes place.

And of course, I have to talk about Jake from Time Changes Everything, since he was a heart breaker in Amanda's early years. You will see this in my prequel to Time Changes Everything which is called Boy Next Door.  Find the blurb and excerpt below:

Dumped on Homecoming Dance night, Amanda Larson assumes that her life is over. That is until Jake Edwards, her next-door neighbor and long time crush, has come to the rescue. Although he is only visiting from college, Amanda can't help but hope that their night will lead into something bigger. Jake, on the other hand, knows that despite his attraction to little Mandy, he can't commit, not while he’s away at college. Still, Amanda will never forget the kiss she shares with the boy next door.

Hope you enjoy this small excerpt to my sweet romance.

Her look says it all...

From Boy Next Door, a WIP (unedited version)

When Amanda stopped laughing, Jake hesitated a moment. Her eyes searched his face for something and he knew exactly what. To hell with it. He was off at college anyway. One kiss wouldn't hurt. He brought his hand down to her cheek. “And taking you tonight was my pleasure, Mandy. I should be thanking you.”
Amanda looked up at Jake with her warm green eyes. He couldn't hold back. Not when her eyes asked for what his mind told him to do. “Damn, you really are beautiful.”
Amanda gasped and the sky suddenly surrounded his senses. The clouds stopped moving and the wind no longer blew its breeze. Without thinking, Jake bent slowly and placed his lips to Amanda’s.

STAY TUNED FOR INFORMATION ABOUT BOY NEXT DOOR WHICH WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM ENTRANCED PUBLISHING THIS SPRING.

  16. I love, love, LOVE that picture. It completely captures that innocent adoration Mandy would have for Jake. It's so sweet. I'm really excited to read Boy Next Door and Time Changes Everything. May can't come fast enough!

  17. I think I'd like "The Marriage Bargain." Already read "On Dublin Street"... pretty good,
Thanks for the giveaway and participating in the hop!
I think that Christian Grey from "50 Shades of Grey" is a good example of a heartbreaker. He used and abused Ana at first, but then came to his senses by book two.

  28. I would love to try "On Dublin Street." My favorite heartbreaker is the one that your heart can’t live without. One of my best is Lucas from D B Reynolds book “Lucas” (Vampire in America series). Strong mind, well put together and tender when he needs to be.
