Marry me? Fun Proposals!

I am a surfer. Not that kind! I surf the net ALL the time. One of my favorite places is Pinterest. Have you been there? If not, check out my page and see what it's all about.  On Pinterest, I often see brides planning their weddings. Since I've already been there done that, I just look at the pics to dream and possibly use in a future story.

Doing research for future stories is a lot of fun. One thing I researched in the past week was different ways to propose. Every girl dreams of it. So, I thought I'd share some cute proposals. Which are your faves?

I think I would eat it before noticing the ring!

At least I'd have my coffee first!

Perfect for a Potter nerd, like me.

Possibly using this idea!
I just love this picture! Pure romance!
Takes some planning.
Sweet!
And my latest fave: I saw this on the news. The most frightening proposal ever!

Do you have a proposal idea? What story do you have?

Thanks for stopping by,

Melinda

  1. These are cute! But I couldn't see the video-it's been taken down. Maybe you can find another link.

I have recently joined the Pinterest ranks as well, and I have a weddings board that I claim is there due to the wedding theme of The Best Man, but is mostly there because I like weddings. ;)

I think the best proposals are surprises but not too surprising. Meaning, big public proposals to someone you haven't dated long is the recipe for disaster.

I'm also a complete sucker for those flashmob proposals.

  3. Too Cute! I like the s'more one - who doesn't like chocolate? But I'm with you... what if you didn't notice in time...plus the ring would be a little gooey - LOL

  4. I actually saw a video one time where a guy had gotten onto the flight his girlfriend was working on and proposed to her over the PA system.

I just saw this and thought you might enjoy this very unique proposal. Fast forward about 3 and a half minutes to get to the good stuff.

  6. I love this. I have a whole wedding board. Maybe I'll use some of the plans in a future story.
